perhaps not a great time to start this as ive not much to say right now but ill start it off anyway ...today i did the usual stuff ...tidied swept and mopped ...did some washing etc etc all the exciting stuff in my life ...burned myself a couple of c.d`s for my personal c.d player that i have upstairs and mooched on some sites ...so not much to add so far but as i said its now started

a little bit more to add is that tonight im having a night in with our flo ..we will be having a drink ..shock horror not like me at all ...and we will be playing cards and watching x-factor of all things ..so i wont be here tonight ..try not to miss me too much

well this week ...what has happened ???

firstly my sister (mum of five) gave birth to number five ..katie louise born on wed 14/12/05 weighing 7lb8n half oz



melani keeps saying shes bedorble (she means adorable i presume)

me n flo had our usual saturday night in ..a few drinks ...some goodies ...the x factor final ...a few goes on the new now music dvd game and little britain 2 deleted scenes

i won £34 on my coupon ..not bad for a £1 stake

and spuds on his last shift tonight then hes off til the 2nd jan bang goes all my peace then

i bought a new pram for c.j off ebay ..was only £10.60 and a tenner pnp and when it came it was brand new tags still on n everything ..well chuffed with it

yesterday my god-daughter came with her twin brother to fetch me a xmas prezzie

i went into town friday for afew things ..didnt get everything i wanted so will go into leigh tomorrow aft when spud gets up

and i think that just about concludes this weeks exciting instalment

well as anyone who knows us knows ...it hasnt been the best or quietest of xmas`s

our older brother came home from work a couple of days before xmas to find his long term patner had died in her bed ...she had just turned 50 ..its her funeral on the 6th

and our other sister who recently had her baby ..our new niece katie louise is in hospital ...the poor mite was having breathing difficulties and ended up being took to hospital needing oxygen ...it turned out she has bronchiolitus ...lets hope shes home tomorrow for t`other sisters birthday ...shes done today without oxygen and appears to be fine so if its the same tomorrow she will hopefully come home

that is a few reasons why i havent been online ..the other main reason being that spud has been off work and has been hogging my poor little baby p.c ...the poor thing has never been so over worked

well i suppose things could have been a lot worse ..i mean a death is bad enough at any time but at xmas it just seems harder

i wasnt close to my bros g/f ..i aint even that close to my bro (as much as i am my sis`s)but i wouldnt want anything bad to happen to him and you dont get much badder than this ..i really feel for what he must be going through ...i mean her kids aint babies and hes helped her with them for all the years hes been with her and now he vows to look after them ....it takes a lot to take on someones elses kids on your own

thankfully it wasnt as bad with katie as it could have been but with a newborn its a worry ..i just hope shes home tomorrow then her poor mum can enjoy her b/day at home with all her kids instead of being at the hospital with the baby

well our drinks night tonight has been put to tomorrow as our flo is going to stay at the hospital tonight with katie so that our other sister can spend her birthday at home with her hubby and other kids as katie needed oxygen in the night again last night and she needs to do 24 hours without it before she can come home ...so will be a quiet night tonight

well we had our drinks night on new years night ...was a good night ..

katie is still in hospital ..they now think she may have asthma ...she doesnt seem to be doing well for long without the oxygen but she does seem to be picking up which is good

and now our mum is in hospital ...our flo foned for the doc last night as mum has been vomiting for days and with her being diabetic it plays havoc with taking her insulin when she is like that ....so she has to stay in hospaital now till they can stop the vomiting and then they can stabilise her diabetes

and our brothers g/f`s funeral will be held on friday

nothing much else happening in the slater house ...we had spuds mum round for teas yesterday and spud went back to work last night ..short week though this week as its his last one again tomorrow ..then my poor p.c will miss me cos i wont get near it again ggggggggrrrrrr

well things are slowly getting back to normal ...spuds back to working 4 nights a week so i get my p.c back a bit more now .....katie is home they have given her an inhaler to use and said it was asthma all along that was her problem

mum is home and being treated for mrsa in her foot

our brothers g/f`s funeral was held on friday ..it was the first time i had been to a cathoilc funeral and also the first time i had been into st williams church ..i wasnt sure ewhat to expect but it was a lovely service

also on friday we decided to go out round hindley ..was a good night ..sal n barney wwas out too and a few of there friends
